Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using the Bud mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

Bud is a pet health tracking application that allows you to record and manage your pet's health information, including vet visits, vaccinations, medications, weight, and other health records. Bud also offers premium features through a subscription called Bud+.

You may create an account using Apple Sign In. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

• Bud+ is a premium subscription managed through Apple's App Store and processed by RevenueCat.
• Subscription pricing and terms are displayed in the App before purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings.
• Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policies.

Bud is not a substitute for professional veterinary care.

The App is designed to help you organize and track your pet's health information. It does not provide veterinary advice, diagnoses, or treatment recommendations. Always consult a qualified veterinarian for your pet's health needs. AI-generated content (including pet portraits and blog posts) is for informational and entertainment purposes only.

You retain ownership of all data and content you enter into Bud. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the service (e.g., syncing data via CloudKit, generating AI portraits).

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer or disassemble the App
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
• Upload content that is harmful, offensive, or violates third-party rights
• Create multiple accounts to abuse free features

The Bud App, including its design, code, graphics, and branding, is owned by Bud and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without our written permission.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bud and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for Bud+ in the 12 months preceding the claim.

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for violation of these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases, but these Terms will continue to apply to any prior use.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Bud operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
